Morrison gives Storm a scare

MORRISON — Morrison senior fullback Nick Vandermyde made big runs for the Mustangs all night, but the Bureau Valley defense stopped him when it mattered most. Vandermyde, who finished with 109 yards and two touchdowns, was tackled one yard short of the goaline when Morrison attempted a two-point conversion that would have tied the game with 1:31 left.  More...

Bureau Valley beats Fulton 40-0
Chalk up another lopsided victory for the blue lightning bolts. Bureau Valley, now 5-0 on the season, continued to score points in bunches and played physical on defense to beat the Fulton Steamers 40-0 on Homecoming Night in Manlius. As time ticked away in the fourth quarter in Erie on Friday night the scoreboard was blank due to a halftime power outage. However, Bureau Valley was lighting up the scoreboard in the first half as they scored on all five of their possessions and cruised to a 49-6 victory over Erie-Prophetstown.  More...
